MEDIA POLICY & GUIDELINES

Policy Overview

The Media Policy for Moglix establishes guidelines and procedures to ensure authorised and secure communication channels are utilised for all interactions with employees, media, and third parties. This document aims to:

  • Prevent unauthorised messaging
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Safeguard sensitive information from leakage
  • Promote company's positive image through authorised communication

This policy applies to all Moglix employees, contractors, and third-party associates who represent Moglix in external communications.

Authorized Communication Channels

All official communication with employees, media, and third parties must be conducted through authorized channels that includes:

  • Company e-mail accounts
  • Official social media platforms
  • Approved communication tools specified by the company

Employees must verify the identity and authority of the recipient before sharing any sensitive information. For any or all kind of communications, only company appointed/assigned representatives are authorised to receive or share information.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

  • Employees are prohibited from disclosing any company information to external parties without prior authorisation.
  • All communications with the media must adhere to the company's confidentiality policies and legal requirements

Monitoring and Oversight

Moglix reserves the right to monitor and review all communication channels and interactions for compliance with this policy. Any unauthorised communication or breach of confidentiality will be investigated promptly, and disciplinary action will be taken.

Authenticity and Transparency:

  • Individuals who identify themselves as representatives of the Company or engaging in discussions related to the Company's business shall not engage in deceptive practices or misrepresent the Company's identity or affiliations
  • All employees are encouraged to share or promote the information which is already available on our official social media channels

Respect and Professionalism:

  • Employees shall treat others with respect and avoid engaging in any offensive, discriminatory, or harmful language or behaviour on Social Media Platfor
  • Employees shall refrain from participating in online arguments or discussions that may harm the Company's reputation
  • Employees shall remember that if their online profile identifies them as a Moglix's employee they represent the brand and the Company even in their personal time.

Intellectual Property and Copyright:

  • Employees must obtain proper permissions before using third-party materials or copyrighted content
  • Respect copyright and other laws. For the protection of the Company and well as your own, it is critical that you show proper respect for the laws governing copyright and fair use of copyrighted material owned by others, including the Company's own copyrights and brands. Never quote more than short excerpts of someone else's work and give the content owners due credit. It is good practice generally to link to others' work.

Content Creation for Personal social media account/handle:

Moglix respects the rights and freedom of opinion of employees. However, every employee would have to strictly adhere to company rules and regulations and safeguard its image and identity.

  • Any content uploaded online should not affect the image and interest of the company in any way.
  • No post by any employee should in any manner lead to a situation wherein our colleagues, customers, partners, vendors, media and stakeholders find these offensive or discriminatory.
  • The company has a planned and designated system in place for identifying and implementing the means to upload social media content. Only those officially designated have the authority to disseminate information related to Moglix or upload content on the company, including news/ photos/ interviews/ media extracts.

Compliance

Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or legal action, depending on the severity of the violation and its impact on the company.

Review and Revision

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Any necessary revisions will be made in accordance with changing business needs, regulatory requirements, or emerging risks. Employees will be notified of any updates to the policy. Acknowledgment

All employees are required to acknowledge receipt and understanding of this policy. By adhering to these guidelines, we contribute to maintaining the integrity and reputation of Moglix in the media and public domain.
